Conference Details
Join us in College Station from October 14–16, 2026 for the 2026 TACUSPA Annual Conference, where student affairs professionals from across Texas will come together to connect, learn, and grow.
This year’s theme, Leading Through Change, recognizes the evolving landscape of higher education and the important role professionals play in guiding students, teams, and institutions through times of transition. As change continues to shape our work, this conference invites you to reflect on your leadership, explore new strategies, and engage in meaningful conversations about navigating uncertainty with intention.
Attendees can expect a dynamic conference experience featuring engaging keynote speakers, interactive educational sessions, and opportunities to build connections with colleagues across the state. Whether you are looking to deepen your professional practice, gain practical tools you can apply immediately, or find renewed energy in your work, the TACUSPA Annual Conference offers a space to learn, reflect, and lead with purpose.
We look forward to welcoming you to College Station this October!
A Reimagined Conference Experience
In alignment with this year’s conference theme, Leading Through Change, TACUSPA is embracing thoughtful changes designed to create a more engaging, intentional, and expanded conference experience for our attendees.
As the conference continues to grow, so do the opportunities for learning, connection, and professional development. To better support these experiences, the 2026 TACUSPA Conference will feature pre-conference workshops and institutes taking place on October 12 and 13, prior to the official conference kickoff.
Additionally, the main conference schedule has been redesigned to maximize engagement and provide attendees with more meaningful educational opportunities throughout the week. Rather than beginning during the evening hours, conference programming will now begin at 10:00 AM on the first official conference day.
We recognize that schedule changes may require additional planning and financial consideration for some attendees. These adjustments were made thoughtfully and intentionally to create more space for professional development, networking, collaboration, and expanded learning opportunities that continue to support the evolving needs of student success professionals.
Just as our conference theme encourages us to navigate change with adaptability, innovation, and purpose, TACUSPA invites our community to embrace new opportunities for connection and growth throughout this expanded conference experience.
Leading Through Change Together
Change often requires flexibility, creativity, and collaboration — values that are central not only to higher education, but also to this year’s conference experience.
As TACUSPA continues to grow, we recognize that an expanded schedule may require additional planning and financial consideration for some attendees. In the spirit of Leading Through Change, we encourage participants to approach the conference experience with intentionality and community in mind.
As you prepare for the 2026 TACUSPA Conference, consider:
- Planning early for travel and lodging to secure the best rates
- Inviting colleagues or peers to attend and share lodging costs
- Exploring institutional professional development or departmental funding opportunities
- Coordinating travel with professionals from nearby institutions
- Prioritizing pre-conference workshops or institutes that align most closely with your professional goals
- Using the expanded schedule as an opportunity for deeper networking, collaboration, and learning throughout the week
These schedule enhancements were made intentionally to create more space for meaningful engagement, expanded educational opportunities, and stronger community-building across the TACUSPA network.
Together, we can continue Leading Through Change by embracing new opportunities for growth, connection, and innovation within our profession.
