Networking and Community Building
Faculty Networking Breakfast
On Monday, October 25, 2021 join other faculty attendees for a casual breakfast. The breakfast will serve as an opportunity for faculty to meet one another, share research interests, and connect with colleagues from across the state.
Space will be identified for faculty to come together throughout the conference. The lounge will provide opportunities for informal engagement with peers and colleagues.
Graduate Program Fair
Faculty are encouraged to sign-up to host a table during the Graduate Program Fair and serve as a reviewer for the resume review. The résumé review event will be extended to include a résumé and/or statement of purpose for attendees who are interested in applying to graduate school. This will be a great opportunity to recruit for your program and connect with potential applicants.
Faculty who volunteer for the document review will be matched with attendees who have expressed an interest in attending graduate school.
Faculty are encouraged to submit program proposals to share their research and how it can be applied to practice during the educational sessions. In addition to presenting, there will be multiple sessions that are faculty focused including a graduate program coordinator roundtable and a best practices in teaching roundtable.
The call for program proposals will be available May 1, 2021 and close on June 15, 2021.
