Located about 20 miles north of downtown Dallas, Plano, Texas is the 9th largest city in Texas and 4th largest city in the Dallas/Fort Worth region. It is home to several Fortune 1,000 companies, such as Frito Lay, FedEX Office, Keurig Dr. Pepper, J. C. Penney, and PepsiCo to name a few. Although Plano is known for its flat plains, there are multiple city parks including Bob Woodruff Park which is home to oldest tree in the area, 200 years old to be exact. Just south of the President George Bush Turnpike, is the University of Texas Dallas Campus, which offers degrees from the arts and sciences to engineering and management. Local attractions, such as the Crayola Experience and the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary are a must go, but the local cuisine is something you cannot pass up.
